2008 Wine, Women and Chocolate Thanks you to all of our participants!

Over 340 women participated in the 2008 Wine, Women and Chocolate event this year making it the most successful event this season!

Women were provided a full afternoon of outdoor activity starting with a walk, snowshoe or cross-country ski on the 5K trail through IMA Brookwood Golf Club.  Cross-country skis and snowshoes were provided by Shumkaer’s Ski and Snowboard.  Five hospitality tents were on the course offering hot chocolate, coffee, teas, cookies, fruit, soup, chocolate and wine! 

Once inside, participants were pampered with chair massages, manicures, foot massages, hair refreshers, paraffin wax, make-up tips and more provided by local establishments including the Flint School of Therapeutic Massage, Heather’s Haven, Illusions Styling Salon, Touch of Heaven Therapeutic Massage, Transitions School of Cosmetology, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Arbonne International and Escape Salon.  After being pampered, the women moved upstairs for a very special wine tasting with a chocolate buffet and goodies specially prepared by IMA Brookwood’s Chef, Maria LaBrecque, and her talented staff.
